VALENTINE- ROSE OF THE DAY

VALENTINE

ROSE OF THE DAY

Hi, my name is anonymous and am also a pansy so sweet and beautiful that people even you cannot do without every year in a particular month but the fact is that I am very interesting and I also hurt.
People celebrate me with so many kind of gifts, and much more. People called me LOVE while my name is not love. The root of my Day goes back to ancient times, when people paid honor to the Roman God of Fertility. This was known as the Feast of Lupercalia, and was celebrated even then on my day very important.

If He Does Not Love Jesus, He Will Not Love You

If He Does Not Love Jesus, He Will Not Love You

Growing up in church as a young single woman, I heard a phrase about men I might date, “Make sure he loves Jesus more than you.”
I thought, “Well, of course,” and glossed over the cliché without really thinking about it. Adam, walking in the

Outline of Bible History

The Bible's history is accurately know - here is a summary to read
An Outline of Biblical history
Biblical history is extensive, extending over 4000 years and when added to church and secular history extends now over 6000 years. Consider the following main elements of Biblical history. (Biblical dates are provided from The Reese Chronological Bible printed in 1977)
Looking back we can see:
4004 b. C. The time of creation. Biblical genealogy suggests 4004 B.C. (don't be put off by the claims of media and many books that suggest millions, even billions of years. If you have studied creation in this study, or when you do, you will see that it stands up to testing, whereas evolution does not really have any scientific base. In fact creation has far more scientific base.
2144 B.C. The building of the tower of Babel occurred at this time. Because of this God scattered the nations all over the earth.
1967 B.C. The establishment of the nation of Israel through Abraham. God laid the foundations for the Jewish race and eventually formed it with Abraham as its patriarch.
1462 B.C. Moses leads the children of Israel out of Egypt after 400 years of slavery.
1422 B.C. Joshua leads the children of Israel into Canaan. This was the land promised by God to Abraham 500 years before.
1025 B.C. David began the true rule of Kings over Israel. His son King Solomon followed him. Solomon is said by God to be the wisest man who ever lived. After those Kings, Israel and Judah had many other kings, some good, some bad. Eventually, both Judah and Israel fell to foreign invaders. God permitted this because they had not been faithful to Him.
586 B.C. After the temple of God in Jerusalem had been burnt down, many Jews went into captivity in Babylon where they stayed for 70 years.
516 B.C. Gradually the people returned and rebuilt the Temple of God and re-established Jerusalem.
400 B.C. Old Testament history stopped at the time with the writing of the last book of the Old Testament (Malachi). Secular history records many activities of Jews fighting to try to reestablish Israel as the major force it once was at the time of David. But God had laid the foundations for the birth of Jesus in 4 B.C. (the dateseems strange but is the result of the correction of a calendar error found years later).
4 B.C. Jesus Christ was born to Joseph and Mary in Bethlehem, which is quite close to Jerusalem. The childhood of Jesus was spent in Nazareth in northern Israel. His father taught him the skills of carpentry. However, the Spirit of God was teaching Him far more. He began to know who He was; the Son of God born by a special birth. At age 14 he spent much time in the temple talking with Jewish teachers, but by the time he was baptised by John the Baptist in A.D. 26 when He was 30 years of age, He knew His mission in life. This was to be the one who was to die for the sins of the world and make it possible for all men to again have fellowship with God, as it was in the beginning.
A.D. 26. Jesus began His ministry, which continued for about 3 years. During this time He taught the disciples many things, some of which they did not realize until later.
A.D. 29. Jesus Christ was crucified. (perhaps Friday April 15 of A.D. 29).
A.D. 29 The Spirit of God raised Jesus from the dead. (perhaps Sunday April 17 of A.D. 29). Jesus appeared to His disciples and others many times over the next weeks.
A.D. 29. Jesus Christ, in the sight of several disciples and two angels, ascended back to heaven to be with His Father. Prior to His ascent, He promised to come again to this very same location, which was on top of the Mount of Olives just east of Jerusalem. (perhaps Thursday May 26th of A.D. 29).
A.D. 29. The church was formed on the day of Pentecost. (perhaps Sunday June 5th of 20 A.D.). 3000 people were added to the church that day.
A.D. 29 to A.D. 67. The church went through its formative years.
During this time, the activities of the disciples are recorded in the Book of The Acts of the Apostles. Peter, John and Paul were the dominant people during this time. The Apostle Paul wrote about half of the New Testament books. Peter wrote 2 books and John wrote 5 including the last book of the Bible, the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ where an angel told John of all that was going to happen in the future.
Secular history (just two main elements provided here).
A.D. 70 The Jewish temple is again destroyed. Titus, the Roman leader again burnt the temple to the ground. Not a stone remains except the foundations and the western wall where Jews still pray and wait for their Messiah. Jewish people dispersed all over the world and have suffered much over 2000 years.
A.D. 1948. Israel was granted nationhood and many more began to return to their land. Israel has been attacked many times and the nation lives in a constant state of tension with its enemies.
So, you can see the plan of God, and the events that have been a part of His plan for over 6000 years. Of the 737 main prophecies in the Bible, there are now only 18 more in order to complete all elements of the plan for the earth and its peoples. Fairly obviously, these events still to come are to do with, or result from, the second coming of Christ.

HISTORY OF THE BIBLE

A SHORT HISTORY OF THE BIBLE

INTRODUCTION

Take your Bible and just hold it in your hands. Now think about how much this book really means to you. While you think about its value, consider the fact that this book, we call the Holy Scriptures, is the bloodiest book of all history. For many of its writers, death was an end result of their labor. For many, who through the following centuries would fight to preserve its integrity, would forfeit their own lives. Yes, this book which is the most precious in all the world, was purchased with the price of blood.
A good foundation in the history of the Bible is a must. Knowing something of its history will cause a deeper appreciation for its worth and its message. This material will be devoted to learning more about how we got the Bible and how it has been preserved throughout history. Some outlines will be provided to show how this book has been put together, so that a better understanding of its message might be obtained.
